Do I have to have experience to play?

NO! All of us who play have played other sports at some time! We will teach, learn and play together! Just come give it a try!
ALL first year players get a free rugby ball just for trying out the sport!

How much does the season cost?

Do Girls Play Contact!

YES! There is contact rugby for ages 13+! The last 3 years, AYRU took a girls U18 team to compete in Salt Lake City in a national tournament. Look at the upcoming opportunities for the 2023 Season

At what age can you start playing rugby?

Rugby with AYRU starts at the age of 5. We teach the fundamentals of rugby and emphasize communication and fun! Then we build with different age groups skills up through high school.

What equipment do i need to play?

Cleats, Water, and a great attitude!
Mouth guards for contact teams!

Moreover- 44 Universities offered Varsity (scholarship rugby programs) teams in 2020.
